Tyrion: Let me give you some advice bastard. Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you.
Jon: What the hell do you know about being a bastard?
Tyrion: All dwarfs are bastards in their father’s eyes.
My spellchecker are set to British English so the word armor was underlined red. It should be spelled armour, but whatever….
The point is no matter how hard we want to hide something, someone will know it. But, most of the time people are lucky enough to be buried with all their life stories — unknown and forgotten. If you are a believer then God is watching everything, maybe he would share it with the angels or something. Even if we don’t believe in God, what if we multiply our technology of forensics and virtual reality. It is not impossible with rapidly advancing technology we can simulate the past events of the dead.
There is a lot to learn from Game of Thrones and while waiting for the premier I wrote this because the quote struck me like the thunder of Zeus. I watched the show at Season 2, then read the 5 books from The Song of Ice and Fire. Although I had spoilers before watching it up from season 3, there was still surprises and it at least doesn’t suck like screen version of Dune.
There was so many diversion from the Book, the most disappointing part was there was no Lady Stone Heart. It was fun to predict stuff that would appear on screen from the books, but now the show surpassed events from the books.
Another half an hour before Game of Thrones air on HBO. Let us enjoy it together. Cheers.
